Network Operations Map — the grid, live

One operating picture.
Every feed. No SCADA.

The whole grid on one board — live outages, fire-threat and wind, service territories and transmission — fused from public feeds. Situational awareness for everyone the control room can't reach.

The gap

The control room can't share its screen.

The ADMS/OMS platforms — GE Vernova, Schneider, Oracle, Survalent — run the grid brilliantly, but they are licensed, closed, single-tenant, and SCADA-integrated: one utility, behind the cyber perimeter.

The public feeds already exist — Cal OES outages, CAISO Today's Outlook, EIA-930, CPUC fire-threat, the IOU PSPS forecasts — but they sit siloed. Nobody fuses them into one operating picture.

0shared, cross-utility operating pictures for the people who need one but aren't at an ADMS console

An EOC. A CPUC analyst. A mutual-aid coordinator. A municipal or co-op utility. An overseas operator. The system-level view exists for none of them.

Network Operations Map

The board that fuses the feeds.

Condition strip

Statewide customers-out, active outage areas, PSPS in effect, peak wind, transmission at a glance — a posture bar, not a KPI wall.

Network map

Transmission, IOU/POU territories and substations under live outage areas, the wind-threat grid and the CPUC fire-threat tiers.

Stress watch

Territories ranked by wind × fire-threat × dependent load — the proactive PSPS triage, subordinate to the map.

De-energization lens

Click a territory: who loses power? Dependent residents, critical water, transmission inside — confidence-tagged.

One screen an EOC, a regulator, a mutual-aid partner and a small utility can all read at once — no SCADA integration required.

The signature question

Before you pull the switch — who loses power?

Select a territory, or click any feature on the map. The lens computes the downstream consequence from live public data: electricity-dependent residents (HHS emPOWER), critical wastewater and drinking-water systems, and the transmission miles inside the footprint.

The KPIs re-scope to that territory in the same click — so the operating picture and the impact estimate always agree.

1,758ZIP-level electricity-dependent-resident areas the lens counts against any footprint (HHS emPOWER)

Honestly labeled. Without feeder topology the fan-out is geographic containment, not electrical connectivity — every item carries a confidence tag, and the lens says so.

Running on real, verified feeds

California today — every endpoint checked.

Honest scope

Situational awareness — not control.

  • No live SCADA telemetry, no true feeder topology, no state estimation.
  • No switching, no FLISR, no Volt/VAR, no DER dispatch — it never actuates a device.
  • Outside the NERC/CIP bulk-electric perimeter, by design.
  • It informs a human decision; command authority stays with people.

Coexistence, not replacement.

It complements the platforms that run and model the grid — a shared, open operating picture on top. Where a feed doesn't exist, the board says so; it never fakes certainty.

Where it fits

The intersection nobody else serves.

How it's built

AI-authored. Open. Sovereign.

Yours to run

Deploys on your servers, behind your SSO — no API keys, no data leaving your perimeter. MIT-open, no lock-in.

Standards-native

Genuine Esri Web-Map JSON, ESRI drawingInfo/popupInfo, EPSG:4326 — the formats your GIS team already speaks.

Re-point in a day

Another state or country is configuration, not development — swap the verified feed catalog and the board follows.

Built by describing it, not coding it — the same app a GIS admin can regenerate and re-scope by command.
