Agriculture & Land Use answers the question a hearing actually turns on: how much farmland did we lose, of what quality, and to what? Pick a county and a pair of survey cycles and a double-entry matrix fills with measured acres — every from-class against every to-class — so the change is an account you can audit, not a pair of choropleths you have to eyeball. Click any cell and the map, the table, the class mix and the balance all narrow to exactly those acres; open one parcel and a land-evaluation score computes from live soil, farmland-class, contract and district data. Where a survey changed method mid-series the matrix marks the break in that cell rather than smoothing it away, and the exported packet puts a source beside every figure. This demo runs on live, verified California data (DWR land use, the Farmland Mapping & Monitoring Program, Williamson Act contracts and USDA soils); point it at your own jurisdiction with the AI-guided recipe.
